Located along one of the busiest corridors in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY, the 422 Broadway project presented a unique challenge: deliver high-end masonry craftsmanship on a tight jobsite, under a fast-paced schedule, in the heart of a vibrant commercial district.

This four-story mixed-use building called for premium exterior finishes including natural limestone veneer panels, decorative arched headers, cast stone sills and copings, and an extensive, detailed brick veneer. The result is a structure that blends seamlessly into Saratoga’s historic streetscape while offering the durability and performance of modern construction.

With high pedestrian traffic, limited site access, and the presence of active businesses surrounding the jobsite, AJS had to work in lockstep with other trades and stakeholders. Crews maintained productivity without disrupting local commerce or the city’s iconic downtown ambiance — a reflection of the team’s field experience and logistical planning.

Despite the constraints, AJS completed the masonry scope on schedule and without compromise, further demonstrating its capabilities in urban commercial masonry, multi-trade collaboration, and high-end veneer systems.
